Consignment

You are bound to run into the dilema at some point...the attic is completely full, there are more things in the garage that you don’t use than the ones you do. A relative or friend has passed away and you  are the responsible party for clearning out the estate. You have chosen to  move to a smaller house or have a collection or hobby you have lost interest in. You may have inherited jewelry that just isn’t quite your taste.

Why put items up for auction?

At an auction you will find many buyers which enables you to potentially get the best price for your items. An auction house will handle the complete process of the sale for you.

Waarom VeilingHuis De Jager Goes?

We have years of experience evaluating the current market in order to get the most value for your items.

We advertise in leading magazines such as The Antique Trade Gazette, Collect, Origine, Vind, Tableau and Verzamelkrant with no additional expense to our consignors.

We are a known leader in the worldwide market for our record breaking results with red coral, jewelry, and China porcelain.

We have long standing relationships with our consignors allowing them to liquidate their estates at a comfortable pace.

We offer personal and respectful services whether auctioning one item, collections, or an entire estate.

We offer professional photography services in our own photo studio in order to bring the highest value for your consigned items.

We auction live in the room, in addition to utilizing the five largest online auction sites in order to get the highest exposure and value for your items.

Our International Arts, Antique and Jewelry auction consignment commission is only 10%.  This is the lowest consignment commission in the Netherlands and Belgium.

You can bring in your items on our consignment days. We then take a look at whether the items are suitable for our International Arts, Antiques and Jewelry auction or our Estate auction. Your proceeds will be, if the items have been picked up and paid for by the buyer, transferred to you 28 working days after the auction.

It is also possible to set an appointment outside of our opening hours or at your home. You could also send us pictures of what you would to consign by e-mail.
